Crafted by winemaker Jake Bacchus, the 2022 Bacchus Family Wine is a limited-release, artisanal red blend from Western Australia's premium Margaret River region. This small-batch vintage combines mature-vine Cabernet Sauvignon, Malbec, Cabernet Franc, and Petit Verdot, which are grown in well-drained gravelly loams and slowly ripened under the area's ideal maritime climate. Fermented in small batches and matured in French oak to preserve its natural site expression, the resulting deep ruby wine delivers complex aromas of dark plum, cassis, and spice, leading into a medium- to full-bodied palate with fine tannins and a long, elegant finish that pairs wonderfully with rich meats and aged cheeses.
